Show us what you build. We're looking for curious, resourceful Engineering Interns who learn quickly, apply themselves, and follow through.
What you’ll do
- Software: write small tools, test software, troubleshoot bugs, and analyze data.
- Avionics and electronics: support circuit development, hardware integration, documentation, and supervised bench testing.
- Mechanical design and CAD: create or revise models, drawings, prototypes, and fixtures.
- Aerospace: support aircraft design, engineering calculations, test planning, and analysis of results.
- 3D printing and prototyping: prepare and slice files, operate printers, troubleshoot failed prints, finish parts, and check fit and quality.
- Document your work, communicate progress, and help with the practical tasks needed to finish a project. Assignments match your interests, current abilities, and the team's needs; you do not need experience in every area.
What you bring
- A personal project or other example that shows you can learn something and apply it. School, club, competition, and work projects also count.
- A starting point in at least one technical area, plus curiosity about how things work.
- Careful work, initiative, and the ability to work through problems while asking for help when needed.
- Reliability, clear communication, and follow-through on an agreed part-time schedule: approximately 10–20 hours per week on-site, on a consistent schedule agreed around school or other commitments.
- No degree, college enrollment, previous internship, or minimum years of professional experience is required. High-school, college, technical-school, and self-taught applicants are welcome.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
