The Software Engineer works across the stack, not in a lane: platform and data services, internal tooling, test and telemetry pipelines, and software that touches hardware. Small team, real systems, code that ships and gets maintained.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain backend services, data pipelines, and internal tools.
- Write software that interfaces with hardware: test automation, telemetry capture, data from physical systems.
- Own work end to end: design, implementation, deployment, documentation.
- Collaborate with the engineering teams and technicians across disciplines.
- Support test activities, including processing and analysis of test data.
- Support field testing: travel up to approximately 30% when scheduled. Prior flight-test experience is not required.
What you bring
- Demonstrated ability to ship working software and maintain it: real systems over portfolio polish.
- Comfort working across unfamiliar layers of the stack rather than inside one specialty.
- Experience with software that touches hardware (embedded, robotics, test automation, or instrumentation) is a strong plus.
- Military experience is strongly preferred, particularly maintenance, avionics, UAS, communications, or intelligence backgrounds. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
- No degree or minimum years of experience required. We hire for demonstrated capability.
- A motor-vehicle-record check applies for field-test support.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
